"Roger Beep", it is called in Japan, as "Stand-by Pi" I don't know very well about it, I don't know why? But I did buy it anyway, "Stand-by Pi" handy microphone from Japanese Ham Radio Shop ( CQ sunplaza )
This microphone "T-M II" has included a Roger Beep Sound System in it, you hear the sound "Pi!" at the end of transmission, just like at the communication of Apollo 11 with NASA control Center.
But it is every time, anytime, .....Pi, .....Pi, always sending the Signal when you don't want it at some QSO: Huge Pile of DXpedition for example.
So I did put it on this microphone "T-M II", a switch! to choice "Transmissions with the Pi" and " without Pi".
Because I want use this handy Microphone "T-M II" for working DX. Because this Microphone has very very dry and solid sound, modulation. My friend Ham told me that it has not a big talk power in the received modulation, but the Readability is not bad especially in noisy condition on HF high band. So that's why I want to try to use this microphone, sometimes with no "Pi" roger beep sound and sometimes with "Pi" sound in difficult condition DX QSO for example.
(But this microphone sends always "Pi" sound at the end of transmission.... hi hi.)
...... and then
Fortunately, it works very well finally. Youtube Video :Stand-by Pi microphone

Malaysia DX Pedition on 17m SSB
This afternoon, I did work with DX Pedition station of Malaysia on 17m SSB at my home QTH, running 50W with Wire Dipole antenna for 15m, using Antenna Tuner Yaesu FC-107.
It is not so far as DX, from JA (about 3600km). So it went well finally using 15m band antenna anyway.

Indonesia DX-Pedition
I have worked with IOTA DX-pedition Indonesia, this afternoon on 15m SSB using IC-7000 50W and 7mH Wire Dipole antenna. It is about 5300 km, not so far from Japan.

10m band opened around JA
This afternoon, I could work with a station of Taiwan, at the first time on 10m SSB with using IC-703 output 10W and my home brew Wire Dipole Antenna "Inverted V" just only 5m Higher from the earth. It means the propagation around Japan and South-East Asia, I think.
( I could hear also this afternoon the signal coming from UK on 15m band, but have almost no readability about it, because of not good condition for long distance between Europe and Japan.)
( on the other hand, I did copy 100% a call sign from Sweden SM3***. Very interesting today's propagation, I think.)

Wire DP upper
I did make it upper about 7m from the earth my home brew wire dipole antenna for 15m band, with a fishing rod at the top of Pole in Feb 2013 (10m band DP 5m High)
And I did also change the coax cable to 8D size from 3D. The wire DP elements are in the air more higher now. This 15m DP ant works better, I think. But it is now impossible to move the direction of elements, fixed East-West. Youtube VideoBeam directions of this Dipole antenna,
For North: Russia, Europe
For South: Indonesia, Ausutralia, New Zealand, Oceania
But with this Dipole ant, I could work with stations, Urguay of South America and Moscow, Uzbekistan, too.

10m Wire Dipole Antenna
This January, I did add 10m Wire DP ant at my home QTH, besides 15m Wire DP with 5m High.
Many months after moving last year to here, my new home QTH, I have not have HF antennas, just only 2 meters and 430MHz. But I could have HF antenna, one by one, scince the summer 2012.
The last weekend, I did work with Taiwan station on 10m band using this Wire DP ant, mode FM of 29MHz. It was the first QSO for me with this new antenna at the Home QTH. It is very interesting for me making DX QSO on this 10m band.
PS 15m SSB with WI0S, U.S.A. station, I did make a QSO with this Wire Dipole Ant in the last Week end. ( Icom IC-7000 50W )
eQSL.cc
It was a few years ago that I did know about "eQSL" for sending confirmed Cards. Finally, I have registered it and my eQSL started working in this weekend. But it's not enough working for now on my eQSL page, because I am not doing very well this Web Page, I don't understand very well about "eQSL" menu page and commands, unfortunately. But it will be working soon, I think and I hope so, hi hi.
Anyway, I Thank All of You, already sent me your eQSL cards, I could them on my "InBox" of eQSL page. I would like to say it here. Thanks a lot.

Possible for South
I moved to here, my new Home QTH in 2011 and put it up here HF antennas in this year 2012 after all. And I could hear some signals coming from South Pacific: Australia, New Zealand.... I have not never heard it at my Old QTH. Because...of...
Higher buildings at the direction of South and South East from my old QTH, Antennas at 2F balcony about 4 or 5 meters above ground.
But Now, it has become to hear signals coming from SOUTH at New home QTH after moving.
It was at "All Asian DX contest" that I did hear and work with stations of Australia, New Zealand and Fiji Islands on 15m SSB, with my Wire Dipole Antenna about 5m High at new Home QTH. It was so exciting for me, personally.
( at the Top, Dipole for 17m with using mobile Ant *2 , just testing for now... Oct. 2012)
Getting the direction of South at this home QTH like this, it makes me so happy after my moving.

Temporary HF antenna
I started working HF bands at New Home QTH in Spring 2012. At the first, I did use my mobile Antennas fixed on my car out of my shack. Because I have not had a base and a mast for HF band antenna of New Home QTH.
So I did use my mobile station’s antenna in my Home Shack.
It was very low position HF antenna and
there were houses and building around my car parking area. Obviously it was not
very good HF antenna, I did know. But I was so happy at the time. Because I
could work on HF band in my shack with this HF antenna, for the first time,
after our moving to the New Home QTH, since spring 2011, hi hi.
Posting from my Home QTH...New
3 September 2012, I am writing here on this blog. I could not do it after moving to my new Home QTH (Spring 2011), because it was so busy for all things at the new house....where is this? where is that?
So it was after about a year that I restarted my Ham Radio at New Home QTH, in this 2012. (QRT on HF bands : Spring 2011 ----- Spring 2012)
And this August, I have made a HF antenna up ( 15m mono-band wire Dipole ) anyway. It is a Home Brew wire Dipole, about 5m High. It was 10 August 2012. But I haven't worked well on 15m band with this Dipole Antenna, because our HF condition was not good around here, Japan in this August.
But this week-end, we had "All Asian DX Contest" ( 1.2 September ), so many 15m waves were coming here to Japan.
I did work on 15m band SSB with this Dipole Antenna for my new Home QTH, with these Ham Radio stations of .....

Back in after Months
Some months have passed.( last posted, in may 2010) It was in the last summer that I had a luxation of my right shoulder. ( cause of a motor cycle sport accident: Trials, at the first in 1982 )
It has been almost having a bomb at my right shoulder. And it has come up finally in the summer 2010. After that, I have not be able to move my right hand, until the winter. ( if born broken, would be quick to recover )
And a moving: we had to move to new address, it was in the last October 2010. 2 months have passed for the preparation. Last December and January just moving to a new address. (from an apartment room to a house) And January and February we had to put many pieces (of moving) in order at a new home.
From
To
It was a very hard work for this moving, with my right shoulder not enough well... so I could not do another activities for a half of year. (having fun of Ham radio...without my antennas fixed on balcony of my old home QTH. But now finished moving my antennas and others to new home QTH. just preparing newly HF antennas at new QTH.)
I have just only 145/430MHz mobile antenna, using 3m pole beside the house, out of my new shack windows. Movie Youtube
But I have lost 10m high antennas for HF after the moving, anyway.

Huge signals from Saudi Arabia on 17m SSB

It was huge signals coming to Japan from Arabe countries on 17m SSB in May 17 Monday (UTC 12:00-13:00).
For a long time, as for me, it has been impossible to hear DX signals at my home QTH ( but Ant was mono band stick antenna for mobile fixed on balcony).
This Ant has caught DX signals in Monday May 17. They were very strong, huge and clear signals unusually. My radio IC-7000 said these signals were S7-9!!
But it was with incredible big Pile many JA big guns called with enormous power at the same time. It seemed be impossible to make my QSO with these Arabian stations from my shack, running 50W, using a short mobile antenna....hi hi.
Anyway, honestly I was so happy. Because I could receive for the first time the callsign beginning "A" at my shack. And it did mean the HF condition, propagation was becoming better and better. Not bad!! hi hi.

QSO France from mobile in JAPAN
I have worked with French Station from my mobile on 17m SSB. His signal was 59 on huge QSB, it was a good signal, but my signal report given from France was 55.But I am so happy for this report 55, because I was able to make the QSO from my mobile station, running only 50W and with 3m length hand made mobile antenna.
At the beginning of the QSO, French OM did send to me the report 52 or 53. It seemed to be very difficult to copy my callsign, JN4VWH from my mobile station. But the DX condition changing, OM gave me finally RS 55. Then we could work a little bit easier each other between France and Japan.
It was at 17:10 Japanese Standard Time, 08:10 UTC. It was unexpected for me to work DX like this. ( it was on my way to home driving after my job in the evening that I did get the DX signal from somewhere.... maybe country in South East Asia, I thought at the time, because of the signal not bad... through my short mobile antenna of 1.2m length, Diamond HF16FX.) ( about my mobile station )
Anyway, I would like to TNX here again that OM did find my not strong signal from mobile.
ps No good the antenna base! But my new modified mobile antenna for 17m has worked!! not bad, anyway. It begins now! my new mobile station 2009 (MAZDA Familia Short Wagon 1500) . Hi hi.

17m DX mobile Ant (HR21)
The mobile Ant I used at working DX besides the lack on this monday evening, it was a mono-band mobile antenna modified for 17m from COMET HR21( 15m band).Comet Antenna of HR series , they are long antenna for mobile and all of them work very well, I think. ( using HR7 (for 40m) and HR50 (for 6m) at my home QTH)
And I did get newly HR21(for 15m) for using on 17m band. It has 2.13m length originally, but we need more for 17m band. So I did change the elementes like this.
HR21 has finally become a long long mobile antenna as Antenna for 17m band.
But with this modified antenna from HR21, you can receive very loud signals! and also bigger radio waves.
...in comparison with "Diamond HF16FX" (1.2m length) that I have used for these years in my mobile station.
Actually, I could work with many European stations on 17m SSB with this modified mobile antenna from HR21 on monday evening! (running only 50w, but maximum in Japan for mobile stations)
ps For the working for 15m band HR21, just only exchange the elementes in place of home made elements for 17m.

Moving...
Moving...to South? It was the first QSO tonight on the side of the lake, with the station of Sweden, at 20:28 Japanese Standard Time. And the next, it was the signal of CQ coming from Sweden, too.
Then, a big signal has come to my mobile antenna. It was from England, at 21:15 JST.
At 21:34 JST and 21:46, from France. And after that, huge signal coming from... Italy!
It is very interesting, contact area moving regularly. I have heard about This behavior of the contact area, but it was the first time for me to actually watch it in my working HF band.
After 22:30 JST, DX signals have become little by little weak and gone at last.
And I have heard the other signals coming from Europe during the lake side working. It was too many signals! hi hi. Hearing QSO with JA stations on 17m band in his shack, many European stations have come on, I thought.
Anyway, the propagation is not bad!! I don't know why it is in this activity of the sun. But curious "area moving"! I have watched at the DX working this evening. Hi hi.
Mobile DX

This evening, I have worked with my new mobile station on 17m SSB band. Just getting my new car this summer, MAZDA Demio to MAZDA Familia, so it was the first working of my new mobile station. ( I have just finished to fix the radio system on my new car this 5 th September )

40m France
DXSCAPE Web cluster August 24 2008 ( 24/08/2008 UTC)
This early morning , I did catch a signal on 40m band SSB with my Mobile Antenna fixed on my balcony in my home QTH, and I was in Short Wave Listening at the morning. It was very strong JA Big gun. He was using 2elements Yagi of 30m high running 1000Watts. He was just working with "F4" station of France!
(Japanese Standard Time 4:00 AM August 24 2008, 20:00 UTC / 7.060 MHz SSB on frequency)
And it was incredible! I could also hear and read the signal coming from France on my system, into my Balcony's Mobile Antenna about only 2m length. But it was No Signal that my radio IC703 said on his display. It did mean that it was impossible to make QSO with the French station for me. But anyway I was very happy for me to hear and well read the signal on 40m SSB coming from France this morning.
And after that, the JA station did not finish his working. With some European stations, Belgium, Finland, Russia and Germany etc. I could receive some signals from Europe on "S5-S7"!!! (it was Belgian stations) with my Mobile antenna. On the other hand, there were some signals impossible to read well for my system.
It was very exciting for me to listening this morning 40m band, anyway.

East Timor 4W6R Dxpedition

This evening, I could make a QSO with 4W6R, East Timor DXpedition on 17m band SSB from my home shack, running 50 Watts with using my mobile antenna (1.4m length), fixed 10m high , at my home QTH. It was 19:29 Japanese Standard Time (11:29 UTC).
I have received E-mail from my local mobile station who did sent to me the information when he have already done well his QSO with 4W6R from his mobile station. So I could call to 4W6R DXpedition on the 17m band SSB.
It was not easy to work with East Timor this evening, even though it was not so far from Japan. But 4W6R have receive my call sign at last after three or four times of my call sign sendings, because of huge QRM and my local city noise, unfortunately.
But I am happy anyway now! And thanks a lot for my local station, BUO -san.
